Gear
I use a Powerbook G4 with an MBox and Ableton Live and ProTools LE for composition and editing. I capture the sounds with a minidisc recorder.
I also have an ESQ-1, CZ-1000 synth, dbx 266XL compressor, Alesis MEQ230 graphic EQ, Zoom 1201, Digitech RDS 7.2 delay, and some stompboxes
for sound production and processing.
Software includes Amadeus II, Reason, OhmBoyz and OhmyGod, and a whole slew of SMEX VST plug-ins (particularly Ambience,
SupaPhaser, and Crazy Ivan).
Recently I have been having fun with a little electric bass which responds well when attacked with a bow. I'll make noise with just about anything, though -
toys, scrap metal, crazy handmade instruments...
